Our Team, Our Opening Hours and How to Reach Us

Greeting from the Principal

Dear parents

Each school day brings new experiences that give students a new opportunity to steadily develop personally and academically, spark their curiosity, form friendships and acquire knowledge. I am delighted that you are interested in SIS Regensburg and I would like to invite you to get to know our special school community.

At SIS Regensburg, it is most important to us to accompany the children and students – starting from kindergarten through primary school to graduation in the Gymnasium – on their journey through life.

Our school values of honesty, appreciation, commitment to action and personal responsibility are lived by our school community on a daily basis. Mutual respect and commitment play an important role. Thanks to our international school family, we have the opportunity every day to learn a lot from and about each other and thus also about our different cultural backgrounds. Our students demonstrate the motto "School against Racism" every day.

I would be happy to make an appointment with you to give you an understanding of our kindergarten or our school in a personal conversation and to answer any questions you may have.

Yours
Danette Brink

Born in South Africa, Dr Danette Brink came to Germany to read her Doctoral thesis in Musicology at the University of Regensburg.

Moving from the academic teaching world to the private education sector, she joined SIS Regensburg and SIS Ingolstadt in 2016, teaching music at the secondary and primary level (SIS Ingolstadt). Since 2018 she has supported the management team in Regensburg as vice-principal, as well as teaching French, Ethics, and ESL.

Danette Brink believes that a good education is a right that every child has, where a child has the opportunity to grow not only academically, but on a personal level as well, through the power of learning new ideas. She supports the bilingual concept of the SIS Swiss International School as a tool that opens multiple doors in our cosmopolitan world.

She is pleased to be able to continue supporting the high level of education and commitment at SIS Regensburg in her role as principal.
